Science is progressing very rapidly, and along with that new discoveries are being made. homeosapiens have been constantly on the look out to find new and more effective therapisoughtes to ensure that the human race is more healthy. In the field of health care too, a lot of newer treatment methods are being sought, yet there is no complete and efffective treatment with any one pathy. If any one individual method (pathy) was an answer for complete and radical cure then there would not have arisen the need for research into other fields of healing.
It was due to this reason that an Italian philanthropist Count Cesaere Mattei, brought out a new and dynamic way for treating various ailments as he found that no single therapy had the answer to all the ailments or was a panacea for all diseases. This was the seed then, for the germination of a new system of treatment evolved by count Cesaere Mattei and he called it as Electrohomeopathy however currently it is also known as Electropathy. Electrohomeopathy is derived from three main words,
Electro – In the humans and plants, there are two kinds of energy flowing, the positive and the negative. when the flow of the two energies are in a rhythmic balance, then it is in perfect health. When there is inbalance then disease manifests. So, the word electro has got nothing to do with electricity, but only with the two polarities of energy.
Homeo – means to bring it back to a state of balance.
It is to bring the human body’s energy to a state of balance with the help of plant’s energy.
Pathy – means the science OR the system of treatment.

“ I was totally immersed in the study and research on Nature, plants, trees and the various diseases. I did not want to do injustice with the people of Rome and therefore I resigned from being a member of parliament. I have held the various appointments like the magistrate, leftinent Cornel, etc but even here my mind and interest was on plants and trees and the nature only. I have had to listen and digest very odd and funny derogatory remarks from people but I never got perturbed. Today, in the year1865 I have been fully sucessful in my efforts, and I am bequething to you all a very natural and ancient system of medicine. It is my firm conviction, “that in the whole world this system of medicine will be first and last system that will be a complete healing based on medicinal plants and trees, and it should be so.” For, our food also consists of plants and trees only, and therefore the research on various diseases should also be by the help of plants and trees. Only then can we always keep ourselves healthy and without any disease.
